Setting up Wireless Networking with Microsoft Windows XP

 

 

Open Control Panel

 

Open Network Connections

 

Right click on Wireless Network Connection

Select Properties

 

Select the Wireless Networks Tab

Select Add

 

Type in the network name (SSID)

Uncheck The key is provided for me automatically

Enter your key twice

OK

OK

If you receive the error:  Limited or no connectivity this is 99% likely to be caused by a typo in the key, or the wrong key being entered.  To remove the key and start again return to the properties screen:

 

 

Highlight the network and choose Remove
