How to Install Windows 7
1. Boot to Install DVD, you get this screen. Just click Next unless you want to use another language.

2. Click the big button that says Install Now in the middle of the screen.

3. Click on the check box that says I accept the license terms, and then click Next on the bottom right.

4. Click on the lower box that says Custom (Advanced) to do a fresh install and not an Upgrade.

5. Click on the Partition you want to install in, typically the largest one; if you want to format the drive first click on Drive options (advanced) and then click on Format. Click OK on the warning screen to start the formatting. After it formats, click Next.

6. After you click Next it will do its thing and copy/install Windows for you , just wait.

7. It will flash to a few other similar screens that just say what it’s doing.



8. Once it turns back on, type in your Username and Computer Name when prompted, then click Next.

9. Type and retype in your password if any, then click Next.

10. Type in the Product Key, check Automatically activate Windows when I’m online, and then click Next.

11. When it asks how you want to setup the Windows Updates, choose whichever one you want; use recommended settings is useful in windows 7 as it downloads driver updates as well as other patches for it.

12. Select your Time zone, set the time, and then click Next.

13. Choose which type of network you want to set your security settings to depending on where it will be used at; usually click on Home network.

14. And, Voila. Windows 7 is installed.
