Move the users
data into a folder in My Documents called Outlook
In the Create or Open Outlook
Data file window browse to that folder and open their pst file (check for most recently open to determine
which to use)

are show

Highlight old (default) pst file

Now old e-mail is linked in,
one last step to link in contacts to the To button on
new e-mails

Select Folders icon at the
bottom left
RIGHT mouse click on Contacts
in Folder List (Not the larger contacts further down)
LEFT mouse click on
properties

Make sure Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book
is checked

Select Inbox
Select New
Select To
Verify Contacts list appears,
otherwise repeat
Fixing Archive to go to
archive file from backup and restore

Open Outlook
Select Tools, Options

Select Other Tab
Select AutoArchive

Select the browse button next
to Move old items to OR paste the
location of the archive.pst file you recovered from
backup.

Check Schedule an automatic send/receive every 5 minutes under Setting for group “All Accounts”
