The Android includes no functionality to natively synchronize with Outlook.

For $40 a company called CompanionLink offers a matched set of DejaOffice for the Android and their Outlook Synchronization suite. Several steps are missing which will block synchronization. We'll attempt to fill out at least some of the missing details for you.

The software requires that you manually synchronize and will require you to change some settings manually as follows:

• Download and install the CompanionLink Software
• Download and install the DejaOffice software. This MUST be done through Android Market or your Android/Droid X will block the installation. Search for DejaOffice once there, download and install it.
• Select the notification bar at the top
• Select a USB Connection Type of Charge Only
• Configure your PC's CompanionLink Software to synchronize with Outlook.
• Open DejaOffice on your Android and select Synchronize.
